It's finally stopped snowing now and the wind has picked up and shifted around to the North. We're all snug in the rug, though a little sore. It was a leg- and neck-gaiter kind of day.

Wow, your area really got nailed. I hope the highways are mostly clear tomorrow. We're driving through Madison on our way to Chicago. Luckily the rental we reserved over a month ago is a FWD Explorer. We usually don't rent a SUV, but for some reason we did this time.
We really did. Should be okay tomorrow, but very cold. Might be a little slick...safe travels!
